Data Analytics Intern

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Summer Intern with a background in Data Science and Software Engineering to support our team with software development, data annotation, and model evaluation. The ideal candidate will have experience with programming languages, a strong foundation in computer science concepts, and an interest in machine learning. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Engineering:Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Data Annotation:Assist with classifying and annotating manufacturing defects for subsequent model training.
• Model Evaluation:Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and suggest improvements.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and learn from experienced professionals.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Comfortable with JavaScript, C#, or other programming languages.
  • Comfortable with developing interactive user interfaces.
  • Familiar with machine learning concepts and model evaluation techniques (e.g., accuracy, precision, recall, F1 score).
  • Experience with image annotation is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently on tasks while being comfortable seeking guidance when needed.
