Position Summary:
|
A Lead Housekeeper is primarily responsible for daily work orders, all University event set-ups and breakdowns, and emergencies, under direct supervision. Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 2:30 pm - 11 pm; Sundays 8 am - 4:30 pm
|
Position Responsibilities:
|
- Provides routine guidance to others as to job duties
- Distributes work orders and assignments to the workforce
- Report any damaged housekeeping equipment or dangerous situations to a Manager or Supervisor
- Completes work assignments and work orders in an appropriate manner
- Covers housekeeping FTE's assignments on sick or vacation as needed
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Experience & Educational Background:
|
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of prior leadership experience is required
- A valid state-issued driver's license is required
|
Skills & Competencies:
|
- Demonstrate ability to effectively interact with people of diverse, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
- Must be able to work the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing, and kneeling while working
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with building/office occupants efficiently
- Knowledge of proper work procedures and proper use of equipment
- Must have excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills and basic computer knowledge
- Must be able to prioritize and delegate tasks
- Must be able to physically lift boxes and bulk items such as furniture, supplies, etc.
- Respirator Fit Testing may be required

Salary Range:

Salary Range: Grade 3 1199 New Hire rate:$24.06 and 1199 One Year of Service rate $24.54
