A Java AWS Tech Lead works together with a project team to deliver all the infrastructure and its supporting elements in a timely and efficient manner to ensure the best project outcomes. TPOs' work closely with Architects and customers to identify the low-level details needed to facilitate the implementation, and work together with Domain Authorities across the many infrastructure teams (Middleware, DBAs, SAs, Network, Load Balancing, Storage, Access Management, etc.) to ensure the successful builds. Familiarity with all the infrastructure types listed above, and how they all interact with each other, is required. Good interpersonal and technical skills are required, as is the desire and ability to constantly learn new things.

The Role: Individual Contributor External Facing Role

• Responsible for the project tasks assigned.
• Participate in requirement gathering JAD sessions and support documentation where applicable (business, functional, UI, usability, data, compliance, data migration, NFR, 3rd party tools & products)
• Raise queries and get query resolution on areas which are unclear, ambiguous and which need more information to the Technology Lead.
• Provide demo to customer for early feedback; create quality check points for all deliverables
• Develop tier coding, business layer coding, interface development, service development, creation of stored procedures, etc. as applicable for the work package / project;
• CTS and customer specific coding standards, guidelines and best practices;

• Strong in Java8, Rest API, Spring boot etc.
• Experience in AWS
• Experience in any scripting and programming languages is must - Bash, Python, etc.
• Experience in Handling Kubernetes setup and AWS Cloud formation
• Experience in Infra Automation.
• Experience in Jenkins/Gitlab and integration with various tools (CI/CD Process)
• Experience in PLSQL
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code using Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet.
• Exposure in ansible script

The hourly rate for this position is between $32.16 - $73.56 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
