You should possess a balance of wireless industry exposure, coupled with the ability to work independently and cover a wide area of sites in our market. You will be a "jack of all trades", encompassing aspects of technical support, project management, and operational support while being a responsible team player.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilities support: Supports Critical Facilities and Enterprise Security to ensure that all redundant systems such as power, cooling, and backhaul are maintained and available 24 hours a day at our MSO. Remains vigilant in securing the MSO from intrusion by detecting, reporting, and preventing any unauthorized access to our facility.
- Technical support: Provides technical support within and occasionally outside immediate team. Provides technical support in network performance initiatives, outage resolution and works to identify day-to-day improvement opportunities.
- Project management: Takes on smaller projects or portions of key projects / initiatives, providing accurate status and progress updates as requested.
- Operations: Identifies and shares potential process improvements and recommends them to Senior Technicians and / or management for consideration. Provides input on process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities. Assists in creation of job aids, scopes of work, method / statement of procedure, and helpful tools working closely with a Senior Technician.
- Continuous learning: Enrolls in and completes training requirements to stay current on existing and new systems and products, to grow skills, and to expand proficiency in company values and organizational requirements.
Education:
- Vocational/Technical Training. Two-year vocational degree in a technical discipline
- Related technical military training
Work Experience:
- 2 - 5 years' experience in switch or field operations and knowledge of Ericsson technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated; exhibits initiative in achieving company goals and objectives
- Basic leadership skills and ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks
- Able to work independently or in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexibility with ever-changing environments and priorities
- Understands basic RF Engineering, Radio Frequency theory, and Electricity and Electronics theory
- Solve problems using creativity and innovation
- Accepts and provides constructive feedback
- Operational knowledge and theory of all Transport circuits to include but not limited to Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLANs, IP Subnetting, and microwave radio
- Solid skills in Microsoft office products with advanced skills in Excel specifically.
- Supports key projects, providing day-to-day updates to Senior Technicians and manager as directed.
- Supports team by contributing 100% as an individual, while prioritizing team success.
- Quickly adapts to change, seeking to understand the whole picture to best adapt.
- Basic understanding of theory and application related to RAN.
- Openly share ideas to help gain efficiency, solve problems, or add value to the business.
- Demonstrates continuous desire to learn and develop personally and professionally.
- Solid understanding of theory and advanced understanding of application related to transport.
- Ability to cover rotational On-Call shifts on weeknights and weekends.

Base Pay Range: $24.98 - $45.07
Corporate Bonus Target: 10%

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
