Senior Java Developer

Introduction: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of Java development experience, with a proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of developers. Strong expertise in Core Java, SpringBoot, and REST & SOAP web services is essential. Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and Kubernetes is also required.

* Java Developer Skill 12+ years Experience in leading 3-4 developers and mentoring the team. Experience in working with Solution Architect for Design and providing recommendations. Perform Design and Code reviews
* Strong hands on experience is required on the Core Java, SpringBoot, REST & SOAP Web Services
* Hands on experience working with Azure cloud, Kubernets
* Good to have experience in IBM MQ, Oracle SQL
* Ability to develop SOAP/RESTFUL webservices
* Ability to build and deploying spring boot microservices
* Ability to write Junit testing
* Ability to solve the problem/issue when occurred in QA region
* Ability to participate in scrum calls/grooming sessions/stand ups
* Ability to work with cross work stream teams
* Ability to work with performance team to evaluate and resolve any performance related issues
* Ability to work with product support team to troubleshoot any production issue.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills and good listening skills
* Excellent problem solving skills - Ability to analyze problem in multiple perspectives

The annual salary for this position is between $81K - $141K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
