[1] Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Leader with analytical passion and effective communication skills to join our Containerboard team! This role is for a valued business partner, who will collaborate, lead, and advise, providing financial and analytical support to our Brewton, AL facility and the Containerboard business. You will also create value by providing actionable manufacturing analysis, cost analysis, forecasting and planning, as well as initiative tracking for operations leaders. Location: This role supports our mill in [2] Brewton, AL. We have a hybrid schedule of in office and remote workdays but do require a regular weekly onsite presence at the facility. * [3] Brewton is one of the most modernized paper mills in the country | Georgia-Pacific News (gp.com) * [4] Georgia-Pacific's Impact: Awards, Investments, and Community Service in 2024 Our Team: The GP Financial Planning & Analysis team is made up of individuals that provide support to [5] 125+ operating locations across the US, as well as at our corporate HQ in Atlanta, GA. Our Platform Analytics team is responsible for supporting financial and manufacturing analysis functions for our nine [6] Containerboard and [7] Cellulose facilities across the country. What You Will Do * Supervise a team of analysts and continue to build capability and focus within that group * Prepare and communicate comprehensive financial reporting; consolidation of reporting and analysis, results and trends, variance analysis, investment analysis, etc. to support decision-making on a monthly and ad-hoc basis. * Lead strategic planning, annual planning, and forecast cycles for the facility * Direct manufacturing KPI analysis, cost analysis, benchmark reporting, initiative tracking, etc. to support site competitive position * Provide analytical support on strategic capital and major expense projects and ad-hoc requests * Collaborate with a diverse team to identify opportunities, develop, and prioritize strategies that drive value creation and advance the current state * Be a decision maker, seek and share knowledge, and respectfully challenge the status quo * Drive change, with a focus on innovation, process improvement and solving problems * Advance our Principles-Based Management culture by applying and reinforcing the company's Guiding Principles Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * A team-oriented, life-long-learner who takes initiative, is not afraid to ask questions, and has a high attention to details * An effective and careful communicator who can craft the message across multiple types of audiences * Deeply knowledgeable of key financial and accounting concepts, cost accounting, marginal thinking, and business performance measures * Strong problem solving and analytical skills including data interpretation, trend identification, and data-driven solution generation * Located in or willing to relocate to and work onsite as required at our GP location in Brewton, AL What Will Put You Ahead * Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related Business field of study * Leadership or Supervisory Experience (i.e. coaching/mentoring/leading a project team/developing talent) * Manufacturing sector experience with strong business partnering acumen * Experience with NPV, IRR, and other valuation metrics * Experience with data analysis/visualization tools beyond Microsoft Excel (i.e., Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, VBA, Hyperion, SQL, etc.) At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
