Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Software. This role will lead the marketing efforts for Toshiba's software stack, including legacy systems and the award-winning ELERA Commerce platform. This role involves running campaigns, developing enablement content, creating marketing assets, and enhancing our integrated marketing approach for industry personas across all segments-primarily in the Americas, while leveraging global best practices as needed.

The ideal candidate has experience marketing multiple solutions simultaneously, thrives in cross-functional collaboration, is data-driven, and embraces a startup-minded, hands-on approach. They will own programs that elevate Toshiba's market awareness in retail and drive sales pipeline growth.

This role also entails end-to-end planning and execution, serving as the connective tissue between stakeholders. The candidate must excel at both strategic and tactical levels-spearheading plans and programs alongside product and channel marketing managers, developing sales-specific campaign strategies, driving execution, and optimizing for scale. A strong understanding of buyer and user personas, along with a continuous improvement mindset, is essential to driving business success at TGCS.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing or digital marketing within a technology-based B2C or B2B organization
  • 3+ years of experience in sales enablement/education, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful sales training programs
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to think strategically while executing hands-on, with demonstrated experience in planning, building, and executing digital demand generation and integrated marketing campaigns from start to finish
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively convey industry and operational insights to executives, management, and various audiences through oral, written, and presentation format

  • Highly efficient: Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in campaign and project management, ensuring high-quality results on time

Manages:
While this role has no direct reports, it requires managing key relationships, including:
  • Internal stakeholders: Toshiba sellers (Strategic, Acquisition, Channel), Product Line Managers, Brand Marketing Managers, Marcom, and Technical Marketing.
  • Global collaboration: Sharing best practices with Geography Marketing Managers.
Responsibilities:
  1. Lead marketing asset creation: Own the end-to-end process, from planning to execution, ensuring a demand-generation focus with global application. Position Toshiba as a thought leader, drive new interest in our business, and create sales opportunities.
  2. Develop marketing campaign plans: Design global and regional campaigns to support account-based and targeted marketing. Engage B2B buyers through diverse content (white papers, case studies, webcasts) and distribution methods (email, call downs, direct mail). Work directly with sales managers to drive pipeline growth.
  3. Sales training and enablement: Collaborate with Direct and Channel Sales teams to develop training content focused on competitive differentiation, thought leadership, and persona- or vertical-based selling. Manage execution and incorporate feedback (Voice of Customer/Partner) for continuous improvement.
  4. Set goals and measure impact: Establish campaign metrics based on historical or projected performance. Track actual results against revenue impact and ROI expectations.
  5. Manage marketing spend and reporting: Accurately forecast marketing investments, oversee campaign performance, and provide full evaluations with recommendations for future improvements.
  6. Additional duties as assigned.
Financial Impact:
  1. Pipeline and Sales Acceleration: Collaborate with Sales and Solutions teams to ensure seamless product launches, build pipeline, and accelerate deal closures.
  2. Campaign Performance & ROI: Set goals and key metrics for marketing campaigns based on historical data or projected outcomes. Track actual performance and revenue impact, ensuring alignment with budget and ROI expectations.
Complexity:
  1. Navigating a Matrixed Organization: This role involves managing multiple stakeholder relationships across Toshiba's complex structure. The candidate must effectively coordinate across teams, influencing timelines and deliverables to meet deadlines.
  2. Project Management Expertise: Requires the ability to juggle multiple priorities and solutions simultaneously. Strong project management skills are essential to maintaining control, ensuring timely execution, and delivering results.
