The Project Manager II, Prescriptive Program Lead oversees the delivery of energy efficiency rebate program serving the commercial and industrial sectors in New Jersey. This position plays a vital role in delivering commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs. The program works with clients, customers, and trade allies to improve the energy performance of commercial and industrial projects. Your understanding of factors important to the state of New Jersey allow you to develop innovative solutions and drive them to completion. Your hands-on approach combined with your technical know-how make you the 'go-to' person to get things done.

You perform a variety of processing activities in support of energy consultants, installation partners and customers on energy efficiency projects. You support project creation, verify documents, and perform accurate and timely reviews of projects and payment of project rebates. Prefer talent to reside on the east coast.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage an interdisciplinary team of energy engineers, project managers, and coordinators in the design and implementation the prescriptive rebate energy efficiency program.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop public policy that promotes energy efficiency, renewable energy, and reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance and perform resource planning.
  • Develop the business process and program infrastructure for energy program services.
  • Develop strong partnerships with market actors, subcontractors, and other industry affiliates.
  • Develop program policies and procedures, including incentives and participation requirements.
  • Develop and manage systems and processes to track results for reporting, efficiency, and strategy
  • Promote initiatives to customers, developers, contractors, and
  • Communicate effectively to solidify relationships with the primary client, subcontractors, and project
  • Establish and maintain high standards of work, communication, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with other teams including engineering, evaluation, emerging technologies, marketing, and financing.

Qualifications

  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, architecture, planning, environmental science or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience within the energy efficiency, green building, energy efficiency, building industry, environmental or resource management.
  • Understanding of energy efficiency and conservation in commercial buildings; ability to assess and understand energy use in buildings, including familiarity with measurements of electricity and fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to set priorities, collect and document project requirements, successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability with a proactive and collaborative style that works well in teams
  • Demonstrated ability to act as team leader and thought leader of interdepartmental working groups on complex and/or sensitive assignments
  • Top-notch presentation and interpersonal skills that resonate with audiences of different backgrounds; the ability to communicate persuasively, concisely and unambiguously in speech and writing
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Hands-on management experience in a fast-paced consulting environment with exceptional attention to detail and client service.
  • Awareness and familiarity with NJ energy efficiency landscape, related regulatory requirements, and key actors.
  • Experience working in a Customer Relations Management (CRM) system environment to help design project requirements and workflows; work with CRM development teams to optimize program implementation
  • Strong computer skills with proficiencies in Microsoft Office and internet searches. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to work with Excel workbooks and to create and upload documents and files.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
