Location: Mt. Sterling, IL
Department: IT
Reports To: Helpdesk Supervisor
Salary Range: $17.98-$26.97 per hour, plus bonus opportunity

As an IT Helpdesk Coordinator, you will support internal customers company-wide in the areas of computers, printers, connectivity to the network and client software. Coordinate with other IT teams to resolve issues and provide a high level of customer service to internal users.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Troubleshoot PC and printer hardware, connectivity to networks including wireless, VPN, and DSL
  • Answer user calls regarding various IT incidents and provide assistance via phone, in person or email
  • Log work orders into the helpdesk ticket system by collecting pertinent information from user
  • Provide support for standard client software installed at Dot
  • Resolve or escalate tickets in an efficient, timely manner
  • Set up user network accounts and system access
  • Apply lean tools and thinking to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.


YOU MUST HAVE



  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows
  • Excellent interpersonal/customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED


YOU MAY ALSO HAVE



  • Associate degree in IT related field
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Knowledge of helpdesk software


ROLE SPECIFICS



  • Schedule - 3x12 Friday, Saturday, Sunday-- NIGHTS
  • Travel - Occasional overnight travel for internal trainings and meetings. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
