A Day In The Life
The Supply Chain Analyst under the leadership of one of the Managers within Supply Chain, will support customer demand requirements for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and non-OEM production and service products. The Supply Chain Analyst will 1) collaborate and communicate with internal stakeholders and suppliers; 2) develop and improve consensus forecast and orders; 3) analyze information and identify and participate in continuous improvement opportunities associated with aligning supply with customer/operational demand signals.

As a Supply Chain Analyst you will:

  • Proactively gather data and information, review, analyze, and actively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve consensus and meet dynamic customer demand signals (i.e. marketing, promotions, penetration rates, new product, life cycle demand, seasonality, special activities, etc.). Develop, adjust, and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Develop, analyze, and align planning with production and demand forecasts based on suppliers, product manufacturing, logistics, and total internal and external lead time while prioritizing most impactful if forecasts are too high/low, longer cycle or lengthy transit times. Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
  • Analyze, prioritize and coordinate replenishment activities that maximize customer service levels while minimizing order to receipt cycle time and system/logistics costs.
  • Must be able to make optimal purchasing decisions within established policy, current inventory, and sales expectations and make adjustments identified by exception reports. Utilize information including: lead times, minimum order requirements, logistics and production capacity, shelf- life, collaborative forecasts, part maintenance/supersessions.
  • Responsible for optimizing product allocation to customers when required (i.e. if limited supply) while following company policies/procedures. Understand, navigate, and identify/recommend improvement opportunities in both systematic and manual allocation processes.
  • Review existing business processes and make recommendations to the business relevant to enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
  • Proactively collaborate, communicate, and partner with internal/external stakeholders to successfully coordinate and improve product launch, end of life, and transitions while effectively balancing sales and obsolescence.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve reports that summarize planning/forecasting, and operational outcomes. Be able to query, mine data/information, analyze, format and communicate effectively and efficiently.
  • Proactively participate and coordinate cross-functional activities to improve outcomes, reconcile variances, and refine the forecast models.
  • Reliable, consistent, on-site attendance is a requirement. This position requires you to be punctual and dependable in order to meet the needs of the business; including attending and participating in local and remote meetings and presentations. Periodically may be required to perform activities outside of normal working hours.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university plus, three (3) to five (5) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Req
  • Exposure to SAP S/4 HANA or similar ERP system
  • Experience with setting up and/or maintaining an effective Material Resource Planning (MRP)/ Demand Resource Planning (DRP) system(s).
  • Demonstrated subject matter expert knowledge in Supply Chain Management to identify, develop and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies
  • Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of operations and financial impacts.
  • Experience with data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel experience (i.e., pivot tables)
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience
  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Required
  • APCIS-Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) Preferred

While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the work day and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

Travel Requirements
5% Minimal travel may be required for this position (less than 5% of the time and only on a domestic basis). Occasional overnight travel may be required.
