Job Summary Our growing Construction Management team is seeking a Construction Inspector to join our team in the City of Rochester. Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspect and supervise construction activities and ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications.

  • Coordinate material testing, review contractor submittals, requests for information and coordinate with the contractor.

  • Prepare and maintain submission logs.

  • Coordinate contractor's Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) setup and ensure compliance with approved plans and local agencies requirements.

  • Understanding permit requirements and ensure compliance on construction sites.

  • Prepare daily inspection reports and assist RE in preparing monthly progress reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Qualifications require a minimum of at least 2+ years of construction/engineering with city/dot work as a plus.

  • Candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • OSHA 30-hour safety course certification preferred.

Additional Information
TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $60,400- $90,600 annually for this position and local market.
