Schedule: 3 month Summer Internship, 40 Hours, Days, Full-Time, Non-Benefit Eligible Summary: A finance intern's job is to assist a financial team with tasks related to accounting, reporting, and analysis. Interns gain practical experience in finance while learning about the field. Responsibilities: Financial reports: Prepare financial reports, including monthly or weekly reports Data entry: Enter data into financial accounting systems Financial analysis: Analyze financial data, business performance, and market trends Budgeting: Assist with budgeting and forecasting Presentations: Prepare presentations to convince decision-makers Strategic planning: Assist with strategic planning and policy development Auditing: Assist with audits and account reconciliation Administrative work: Complete administrative tasks and take notes during meetings Required Knowledge & Skills: Education: Finance interns are typically college students enrolled in a degree program, preferably in business administration with a concentration in finance or accounting. Experience: Customer service, call center, volunteer work Software/Hardware: Word, Excel, Power Point, OneNote, Outlook Strong math and numerical skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet and database programs Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to make sound financial and business decisions Equal Opportunity Employer/Disabled/Veterans
