Georgia-Pacific is now hiring a Maintenance Planner at their Cleveland, TN site! The Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing and helping execute maintenance plans to enable the efficient and reliable operation of the site.

The Maintenance Planner works closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Supervisors, Coaches, Operating Technicians, Reliability and Maintenance resources and the Engineering Department in troubleshooting and planning upgrades/repairs to equipment.

Typical hours for this role are 7a-4p Monday through Friday, however, with maintenance, there is always a possibility of off-shift work including coming in on the weekends. You must be able to be flexible.

The Cleveland plant employs approximately 135 people. It serves customers across the nation providing them with bulk boxes. This position provides opportunities for promotion both in Cleveland, TN as well as many other Georgia-Pacific and Koch facilities across the country. Come join our team!

What You Will Do
* Learn and apply all aspects of Georgia-Pacific's Asset Maintenance (AM) process to effectively plan work
* Review all work orders, decide whether a field check is required, and assemble a job plan, a bill of materials and all necessary permits
* Analyze work order completion data as well as planned work completion to help eliminate unplanned maintenance downtime
* Work with the Operations and Maintenance team members to develop a prioritized and 100% resource loaded schedule to optimize internal resources
* Collaborate with production managers, reliability manager and maintenance supervisor on the weekly top priority
* Report weekly completion rates and weekly schedule adherence on a month-to-date basis
* Builds and provides scope of work to contractors and conducts pre-bid meetings and awards projects

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Previous experience in manufacturing maintenance role, production, industrial, military environment, or two-year technical degree
* Previous experience using Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, Projects)
* Must be willing and able to work outside normal business hours as needed which can include weekend work
* Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead
* Previous experience as a Maintenance Scheduler or Planner in an industrial manufacturing environment
* Previous experience with tracking purchase orders from generation to invoicing
* Previous experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
* Previous experience working in a corrugated box plant, sheets facility or similar facility
