RSM US LLP is looking to add a dynamic Inside Sales Manager to our North American Sales organization to support our outbound sales operations.

The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the inside sales growth team to set meetings with new prospects regarding our professional services offerings. This role involves hiring/building the team, developing targets/markets, designing sales strategies, measuring and coaching team members, and ensuring excellent customer service to both our external and internal clients. This leader will collaborate with our marketing teams, service line leaders, and the business development organization to develop complete sales campaigns. This leader will also be responsible for reviewing the results of their campaigns with the internal sponsors of each campaign.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Build, lead, mentor, and manage the inside sales growth team to meet and exceed sales goals. Experience in building a team with understanding of the sales process (targeting/prospecting, researching, presentation, objection handling, etc.). Developing and leading a remote team is needed. Professional services sales experience or industry background is key. Responsibility to help with bringing in talent to the team by reviewing resumes and interviewing talent.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Most important function of the Sales Growth Team will be to schedule meetings with new prospects. Metrics will be assigned to the team and the individual team members to facilitate that goal. Additionally, specific campaigns may have their own metrics. This role will coach/mentor their team in achieving these goals by helping formulate strategies and cadences for their team's outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with other sales leadership, service line leadership, and other internal clients to develop campaigns and strategies to enable them to meet their goals. This role will interface with Product Line leaders, Service Line leaders, Sales leadership and Marketing to fully develop their sales campaigns. This leader will professionally represent the Inside Sales team and guide these internal constituents in building successful sales campaigns.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously preferred
  • Proven sales management skills, particularly in a call center environment required
  • Exhibit strong communication/presentation, analytical, organizational skills, executive presence, and business acumen required
  • Motivated, self-disciplined and possess strong time management skills required
  • Prior solution selling experience preferred
  • Strategic planning skills preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to direct the activities of a geographically dispersed sales team in a remote environment to achieve practice sales objectives/goals
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in practice strategic planning as it relates to sales resources alignment, deployment and staffing levels

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years of sales leadership, professional services industries preferred
  • Demonstrated personnel management experience, including hiring, terminations, training, deployment, and performance management required
  • Experience building a remote sales organization, leading strategic and territory planning, and collaborating with outside sales and service delivery teams required

LEADERSHIP SKILLS

  • Ability to effectively/objectively assess performance of team members and take necessary actions preferred
  • Ability to clearly communicate expectations to team members that hold shared accountability for the results required
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve personal and team revenue production targets required

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $300,000
