Description
What The Role is: As an Information Security Engineer, you will design and implement IT security systems to protect the organization's computer networks from cyber attacks. You will also help develop organization-wide best practices for IT security. The Security Engineer will have responsibility for an assortment of duties related to the protection and security of data including analysis of controls, participating and/or leading remediation efforts, assisting with data classification and data vetting activities, monitoring and responding to data events, and participating and/or leading key management and data encryption projects. Additional attributes required for success include a strong customer service focus, professionalism, versatile product, and process subject matter expertise, responsiveness, taking ownership, effective communication, and can effectively identify risk.
