MEDICAL DOCTOR

Montefiore School Health Program (MSHP), the largest and most comprehensive school health program in the country, is seeking a Licensed Physician to join our team.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work on-site with an interdisciplinary team at a School-Based Health Center, which also provides mental and community health services. Some locations also provide dental and vision services. The physician will be responsible for providing medical care for children and/or adolescents, as well as health education and supportive counseling as appropriate. The physician is also responsible for participating in quality improvement initiatives, as well as promoting the services offered at the health center within the school.

MSHP currently operates 34 health centers located in schools of the Bronx and Yonkers.

Requirements:

* Completion of US Accredited Pediatrics or Family Medicine residency program

* NY licensure

* DEA

* BLS(From AHA or Red Cross only)

* Proficiency in Spanish is preferred

* Experience in Preventive Medicine is a plus
