Office of Undergraduate Admissions Job Description
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is looking to hire a Transfer Coordinator for transfer and adult learner recruitment in the Missouri/Eastern US territory. Reporting to the Assistant Director of the UMKC Center for Transfer Students and Adult Learners, this position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing admissions activities for an assigned recruitment territory to meet enrollment goals and objectives, develop programs and initiatives to support the recruitment of undergraduate students to UMKC, process student applications, and support the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in meeting its goals. This position manages daily responsibilities for a recruitment territory, including using data, trends, and best practices to guide recruitment efforts within that territory. This position has some autonomy for that territory management process; evaluates recruitment strategies for effectiveness within the territory; provides support to colleagues in developing new recruitment initiatives; obtains knowledge regarding the admissions decision-making process to support students and colleagues; communicates information or decisions (both positive and negative) with prospective students and their families; develops and provides recruitment reports to senior leadership; and serves as a liaison between the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and our many campus and community partners. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Shift
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Some evenings and weekends to support special events as-needed. To support our role as a forward-facing office to the public, Office of Undergraduate Admissions staff must adhere to regular in-office hours. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Anticipated Hiring Range
$18.50 - $21.00 per hour commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. Application Deadline
