A day in the life...

As the Operations Financial Analyst - Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the Operations Finance team by analyzing financial metrics, financial modeling, and improving planning & reporting processes. In this role, you will work closely with the Operations Finance team to provide perspective and support of various financial aspects of the business to ensure a high degree of financial oversight, cost optimization, planning, and analysis. You will need to have strong analytical skills, business acumen, and strong communication skills. The Operations Financial Analyst - Intern works within the finance department with a high level of exposure to Senior Management including the CFO, Director of Finance, Operations, and other senior leadership (Operations, Marketing, Sales, etc.).

What you will be doing...

• Provide financial support to various cross-functional teams (namely, Marketing & Operations).
• Financial Modeling: Help build and update financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and propose solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance department.
• Presentation Support: Assist in the creation of presentations for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and insights.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments, such as accounting, operations, and sales, to gather financial data and ensure consistency across all reports and analyses.

(Basic Qualifications)

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Skills & Knowledge:

o Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with financial modeling is a plus.

o Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

o A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

(Preferred Qualifications)

• Prior internship or coursework related to finance, accounting, or economics is a plus, but not required.
• GPA of 3.4 or higher
