Transmission and Driveline Warranty & Reliability Specialist

Position Overview:


The Stellantis Customer Experience Organization is seeking a highly skilled Transmission and Driveline Warranty & Reliability Specialist to join our Quality team. This role is pivotal in managing onsite quality analysis reviews with suppliers and internal Powertrain Plants, while also collaborating closely with Supplier Quality (SQD). The specialist will identify emerging field issues through warranty analysis, monitor corrective actions, and support warranty recovery efforts.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Facilitate onsite quality analysis reviews with suppliers and internal Powertrain Plants.
  • Analyze warranty returned materials and data to identify failure modes and effects.
  • Manage all part return material activities to support Corporate Quality initiatives and Warranty Recovery.
  • Review supplier testing procedures to ensure accuracy in material evaluations.
  • Utilize corporate data reporting systems to capture quality metrics and ensure compliance.
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a dynamic technical and business environment.
  • Communicate effectively at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
  • Establish partnerships and influence without direct authority to achieve quality objectives.
  • Represent the "Voice of the Customer" in platform team discussions.
  • Drive team success by clarifying expectations and minimizing political hurdles.
  • Demonstrate unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality products to consumers.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of assigned UAW personnel and foster a collaborative team environment.

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor of Science or higher in Engineering or a related technical degree (Business Technical or dual degree acceptable).
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive quality, service, or engineering.
  • Strong ability to collect, synthesize, and communicate data effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Self-directed, team-oriented, with demonstrated planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experienced with relevant computer systems and software.
  • Experience working in a union environment.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • High proficiency in PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Parts Return Analysis System Plus (PRAS+).
  • Experience with Global Issue Management System (GIMs) and STLA data systems.
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Quantic/Palantir).
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification in quality management.
  • Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills.
