Role Objective

As a Financial Analyst working with our Supply Chain Team, you will be responsible for Manufacturing and Logistics reporting and analysis for one of our Supply Chain teams. You will evaluate Manufacturing and Logistics performance through Service Level, Quality, Cost and Productivity dimensions, establishing KPI scorecards that measure progress vs. various initiative and strategies. You will fill the role of a business partner, providing important insight to help drive supply chain performance while maintaining accountability for the Supply Chain team.

You'll also proactively identify the right business questions, gather and evaluate descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive information, and generate and communicate insights, recommendations, and solutions to complex problems enabling the enterprise to achieve its purpose, vision and profitability targets.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

General Responsibilities



  • Proactively analyzes key business information, identifies important insights, and advises business leaders of emerging trends and potential recommendations
  • Advises cross-functional teams on business/data insights, trends and recommendations
  • Participates proactively in strategic business reviews and business team meetings as a team member and business partner
  • Provides financial leadership to Enterprise-level initiatives, which may include broad-based business modeling, short and long-term financial impacts, scenario analysis, presentation to senior leadership
  • Queries Company databases to extract key financial and fulfillment data and synthesizes into meaningful business analysis


Supply Chain Finance



  • Actively participates in the scoping and evaluation of supply chain opportunities and threats from both a strategic and financial perspective
  • Creates tools to allow for automated display of information (data transformed into actionable information)
  • Collaborates with SCLT (supply chain leadership team) and other business leaders on recommendations and paths forward


Supply Chain Operations



  • Creates financial/business modeling to deconstruct complex issues and processes
  • Interfaces with the cross-functional teams to gather information and analyze complex processes
  • Concentrates on data insights leading to cost savings
  • Proactively identifies alternative methods of measuring or evaluating information to support strategic decision making and cost reduction
  • Creates tools to allow for automated display of information (data transformed into actionable information)

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in accounting, analysis or finance function
  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is strongly preferred
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership in small and large venues preferred

Supervision/Coordination

  • Analytical lead on cross functional teams
  • This role does not directly supervise anyone

Travel Requirements
Overnight Travel - sporadic - required.
Travel between campus locations in Northeast Ohio as needed
