Development Associate, Corporate and Foundation Relations

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Corporate and Foundation Relations, the C&F Associate provides administrative support to the team. This position is focused on high-level activities in a complex and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team and is committed to accuracy and organization with a keen facility for attention to detail.
* Handles calendars and assists in preparing for meetings with internal teams, prospects, donors, volunteers, and hospital staff. Schedules meetings, secures meeting locations, makes site arrangements (i.e., catering, A/V needs, parking, etc.), prepares biographies, briefings, agendas, and presentations, and takes and distributes meeting minutes. * Works with frontline fundraisers, the office of research management, and gift administration staff to book philanthropic corporate and foundation revenue, ensuring appropriate documentation is filed. * Updates information in the fundraising database, including biographical information, fund designation, receipts, and acknowledgments as appropriate, producing queries and reports. Supports frontline fundraisers in ensuring dedication to data quality and timely information upkeep. * Coordinates and manages processes for identifying and circulating fundraising opportunities using the PIVOT and Insight databases. * Processes travel and business expense reports, as well expense reimbursements-books travel arrangements including accommodations, flight and ground transport with personalized itineraries. * Organizes and maintains files, both paper and electronic. * Fields routine phone calls and emails; takes accurate messages. * Staff events as requested. * Occasional night and weekend hours supporting development activities. * One year of development experience or related experience is preferred. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong proofreading ability * Superb organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail * Excellent digital literacy and word processing skills using Microsoft Products The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
