Executive Assistant

As an Executive Administrative Assistant, the individual provides administrative support to the Director, Deputy Director and other leaders within Code 02.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Executive Assistant: Pay commensurate with experience.
  • Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Executive Assistant Responsibilities Include:

  • Schedule/reschedule meetings and appointments.
  • Prepare and plan conferences and meetings. When attending, take notes.
  • Answer telephones and direct calls.
  • Sort mail.
  • Provide support for data calls and other budget drills, along with tracking data-call requests.
  • Work effectively with a wide range of internal and external customers on a daily basis.
  • Prepare correspondence such as memos, reports and letters, along with PowerPoint presentations, adhoc reports and spreadsheets.
  • Provide editing support on documents, memos and presentations.
  • Assist the Administrative Officer with their duties as needed, including the onboarding of new employees and contractors.
  • Provide support for other division activities and requirements upon approval by Executive Director and/or Deputy Director.
  • Take burn bags to ONR disposal room, and ensure supply of unused burn bags are readily available.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Executive Assistant Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent education.
  • 5 years of Executive Administrative Assistant experience.
  • Knowledge and experience to perform tasks listed in Requirement Tasks of the Performance Work Statement.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
