Senior Qualification Test Engineer
Contingent upon customer approval
Purpose:
- Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Senior Qualification Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL for the STRIKE Test and Evaluation Team.
Job Description:
- Responsible for designing and executing Qualification test plans to validate the functionality and quality of complex Army missile systems.
- Lead and support component, subsystem, and system-level qualification testing; test types may include Environmental, EMI/EMC, Safety, Human Factors, Live Fire.
- Evaluate systems to ensure they meet military standards (MIL-STD).
- Identify potential weapon system issues and defects by performing tests on the system's features.
- Report findings to ensure the final product meets specifications, working closely with development teams across the product lifecycle.
- This position involves physically climbing on top of military vehicles and weapon systems.
Qualifications:
- Must have a BS or BA degree and 10 years of test and evaluation experience.
- Must have 2 years experience in weapon system qualification testing (can be part of the 10 years above).

- Must have an Active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to maintain it.

- Remaining in a stationary position.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
- Communicating with others to exchange information
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
