JOB SUMMARY Assists in quarry operations. Perform pre and post operational inspections and document the conditions accurately and legibly. Inspect, adjust, modify, lubricate and repair plant equipment daily to minimize break downs. Ability to identify and properly utilize various hand tools. Ability to obtain accurate measurements using a tape measure. Monitor plant equipment, conveyors, screen media, wear liners, etc. and notify plant operator or supervisor of any deficiencies or needed repairs. Ability to climb ladders, inclined catwalks and stairs. Perform repairs while working at heights and in small spaces. Perform repairs in varying weather and light conditions. To be successful in this position, you will need: Less than high school education, or Up to one month related experience or training, or Equivalent combination of education and experience. Driver's license required. Typical hours during Production are Sunday-Thursday 4:30pm-4:30am, Friday 4:30pm-10:30pm. Fridays are only as needed. Typical hours during Maintenance are Monday-Thursday 5pm-2am.
