Description Nursing/Clinical Support For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Medical Assistants:
Gilman clinic is a small, close-knit, high functioning team, committed to the patients we care for. This practicefocuses on two specialties - Hepatology and Infectious Disease (ID). The Hepatology side treats patients with all types of liver conditions, including pre and post liver transplant. The ID side treats viral hepatitis, HIV, and provides services for the prevention of HIV. The office is open Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. We are looking for an MA or LPN who is available during these hours, although flexibility in the schedule would be considered for the right candidate. Primary responsibilities include rooming patients, administering vaccines, completing medication refills, inputting labs and abstracting charts. There are several opportunities to participate in more hands on skills such as administering IM injectable medication, performing fibroscans, and assisting with clinic performed paracentesis procedures. The ideal candidate is thoughtful and compassionate about the care they deliver, adaptable to the day to day changes in healthcare, and works collaboratively in a team setting.
