Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Lead Internal Auditor to complete a broad range of complex audit assignments. The Lead Internal Auditor will act as the primary point of contact between the internal audit team and Schneider stakeholders on matters such as risk assessment and compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the project lead for audit assignments and provide leadership to less experienced team members.
  • Assist the management team with risk assessment projects.
  • Complete audit procedures to evaluate the effectiveness of processes and controls.
  • Review and document audit results, recommendations and reports.
  • Identify ways to improve processes and leverage new technologies.
  • Collaborate with associates outside the audit team.

Skills and qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or economics.
  • A minimum of seven years of audit experience required.
  • CPA or CIA certified.
  • Experience in public accounting.
  • Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Able to understand and map end-to-end processes.
