JOB MISSION:

We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead our recruitment initiatives across Global Marketing, Merchandising, Product Marketing, and Corporate Strategy. This role is a critical member of our Global Talent Acquisition team, ensuring the organization attracts a diverse slate of talent to drive innovation and business results. The ideal candidate will create and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy focused on operational excellence and candidate experience.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop and implement strategic hiring plans aligned with New Balance's long-range plan and core values.

  • Lead and manage a team of recruiters to support hiring efforts across multiple business units. Coach and guide the team to meet hiring demands with effective and efficient solutions.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and HR Business Partners to develop and execute strategic workforce plans addressing current and future talent needs.

  • Establish strong relationships with senior leaders to understand business priorities, culture aspirations, and required skillsets.

  • Advise on hiring strategies and deliver tailored talent solutions to strengthen our leadership pipeline.

  • Drive operational excellence by evolving our talent acquisition model, including scalable processes, programs, and technology solutions.

  • Inspire the team to foster continual improvement, teamwork, and best-in-class candidate experience.

  • Ensure diverse internal and external candidate pipelines. Champion internal talent and talent mobility programs.

  • Develop a creative sourcing strategy to attract high-quality candidates and create an engaging candidate experience.

  • Strengthen and activate our employer brand to attract, source, to strengthen our leadership pipeline.

  • Manage Director-level research across multiple business units.

  • Partner with TA and HR Operations to develop and manage a measurement strategy tracking success, opportunities, and impact.

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent COEs to create competitive strategies and programs supporting business priorities.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Proven Recruiting Expertise: 10+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, with 5+ years leading others.

  • Track record of creating best-in-class candidate experiences.

  • Solid understanding of sourcing techniques and tools, and a deep understanding of the talent landscape.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster long-term relationships (with internal teams, external partners, and candidates).

  • 5+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing talent acquisition teams, focusing on empowering team members and fostering accountability.

  • Strategic Talent Alignment: Ability to support workforce planning efforts by aligning recruiting strategies with evolving business needs and identifying opportunities for proactive talent acquisition.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in leveraging data and insights to optimize pipelines, monitor performance, and measure the success of recruitment strategies.

  • Stakeholder Influence: Strong ability to partner with and influence senior technical leaders, aligning recruiting priorities with business objectives and building trusted relationships.

  • Operational Excellence: Experience driving operational improvements in talent acquisition, including implementing scalable processes, technologies, and tools to enhance efficiency.

  • Adaptability and Innovation: Demonstrated ability to lead through change, remain resilient, and continuously evolve recruiting practices to stay ahead of industry trends.

Flexible Work Schedule

For decades we have fostered a unique culture founded on our values with a particular focus on in-person teamwork and collaboration. Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced "Work from Anywhere" (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year. This model will help us enhance our culture while continuing to maintain elements of flexibility.
