Zayo is seeking a Workday Business Systems Analyst to work closely with Zayo's Development/Configuration Team on operational activities, requirements collection, work prioritization, creating/maintaining job aids or process documentation, and reporting and analytics.

Our Workday Business Systems Analyst requires keen attention to detail, strong analytical/technical skills as well as ability to communicate at all levels of the organization in a collaborative and positive manner. Our Workday Business Systems Analyst reports to the Director of HRIS and will be part of supporting the People & Culture Organization with cross functional Workday system needs.

*We're open to this position working in a remote capacity within the United States. If you are within 50 miles of an office location, we do ask that you work in a hybrid capacity.

Responsibilities:

  • Is first level of escalation during US business hours for troubleshooting and support when Zayo's Managed Service Provider is unavailable or work needed is outside of their scope. Must possess basic programming skills for when Zayo's Managed Service Provider is unavailable or work needed is outside of their scope.

  • Lead documentation of requirements related to new functionalities or enhancements to existing functionality within Workday, including gathering business requirements and assisting with the translation into functional specifications.

  • Extract and organize data from Zayo's ticketing platforms, enriching when necessary, to be used for insights and trends.

  • Partner with technical teams on development and testing efforts, providing input and guidance throughout.

  • Collaborate with other team members on cross-functional projects and initiatives.

  • Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with internal clients and external partners.

  • Provide day-to-day support to end users of Workday.

  • Articulate issues for escalation.

  • Identify opportunities for streamlining processes and increasing efficiency through Workday solutions.

  • Help coordinate activities during periods of high demand, such as annual open enrollment or annual performance initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.

  • Workday system experience, including a comprehensive understanding of the system's functionalities and all Workday modules.

  • Understanding of cloud technologies and SaaS delivery models.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where change is constant.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Workday.

  • Workday Security Administrator background.

Estimated base pay range for this role: $78,500 - $112,100 USD/annually

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
