Job Summary:
The Law School seeks a research support staff member who will assist faculty with their research projects, including conducting research, cite-checking articles and other materials, and proofreading and editing articles and other documents. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Development, this position will assist with grant applications, analyzing research, and will also support the Great Lakes Indigenous Law Center with its research activities, programming, and communications. The successful candidate will also work collaboratively with the Law School Business Office and Dean's Office, particularly on grant submission and awards, be informed on funds, relevant budgets of research programs, and other communications and events related to research centers and scholarly activities. Responsibilities: Provides technical expertise to fundamental and/or applied scientific research under the direction of senior research personnel or faculty.
