Broad job function:

The go to individual for escalations and coordination of material found during incoming or MRB review processes. Works with the Planning team to properly coordinate material transactions and records for FAI/RMA processing. As a member of MRB review team, manages all supplier issues and related processes. Technical lead on containment and related lot control issues. Acts as the referee inspector to verify nonconformance's and helps determine magnitude of the problem.

Essential Functions:

  • MRB/ NCMR support: When requested by manufacturing, perform reviews of non-conforming material, participate in NCMR dispositions, and approve as necessary

  • Failure analysis investigations: When product failures are identified internally or from customer returns, research system data (NCMR's, manufacturing order history, traceability data) and perform tests (i.e. solderability tests, microsection analysis, etc.) to aide in identification of root cause

  • Containment activities: When required, assist in containment/ quarantine activities of known or suspected non-conforming material. Includes locating material, moving to NCMR locations, and disposition

  • Participate in root cause analysis efforts to help determine corrective actions and facilitate implementation.

  • Analyze product non conformances determine for quality trends and recommend plans to reduce or eliminate the related cause.

  • Quality metrics reporting: Generate reports, charts, graphs of quality system metrics (RMA's, corrective actions, etc.) as directed.

  • Assist in the creation of inspection & test reports for first article or failure analysis activities.

  • Provide one on one training to others in the organizations on commonly used quality related systems, i.e. NCMR's, RMA's, configuration control, etc.

  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality standards are in place.

  • Assist with new process development activities to ensure all requirements are met.

Job Knowledge & Abilities

  • Good verbal and written skills with an excellent command of the English language.

  • Good time management skills.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to train others and work as a member of inter-disciplinary teams.

  • Must have excellent PC skills, proficiency in the use of most Windows based software, both stand-alone software as well as equipment based. This includes, but is not limited to Word, AutoCAD, Excel, Project, and other standard programs.

  • Strong attention to details.

  • Able to use simple measurement, test equipment (i.e video inspection equipment, x-ray, XRF, etc.)

  • Knowledge of quality systems standards such as: IATF 16949, AS9100 and ISO 9000

Education: A.A.S. degree

Experience: 3-5 years of related experience

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$46,222 - $73,061

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
