$1,942.03 to $2,136.23 biweekly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Central Area/Cocoa/Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Library. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and may include evenings and weekends as needed. Performs skilled professional work in the acquisition area for the Brevard Public Library System. Work involves managing the selection, acquisition, implementation, and supporting the maintenance of the library system's adult collections.

REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree from a graduate library school program accredited by the American Library Association. Public library and supervisory experience are preferred. Previous acquisitions experience is preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. Must be able to work at various public service locations within the library system as directed. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
