Printpack Bloomington is looking for a candidate to fill a Material Handler position on a weekend night shift. An ideal applicant is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. Good attendance is a must. This position will work a weekend night shift (7PM-7AM on Fri, Sat, and Sun). Work 36 hours and get paid for 40. Pay for this position will be $19.32 with an additional $2.50 premium for all hours worked between 7 PM and 7 AM. Key Responsibilities:* Have a general understanding of rack numbering systems, tags, raw materials, and WIP Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials Operate stretch wrap machine and banding equipment Perform routine safety inspections of lift equipment Supply department with materials in a timely fashion such that machine downtime is avoided Perform daily housekeeping chores such as sweeping and 5S activities as time permits Document inventory locations usinghandheldelectronic devices Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent Must be 18 years of age or older Stable work history Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong time management skills and ability to follow instructions 1-3 years experience of material handling and use of forklifts (stand-up & sit-down), pallet jacks, powered pallet jacks, or related equipment is preferred Physical Demands: Lifting up to 50 pounds Must be able to climb, kneel, bend, squat Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Ability to wear PPE including but not limited to hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, safety glasses Printpack is proudly an equal-opportunity employer.
