What you'll do:

SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Associate position is responsible for a combination of tasks including but not limited to filling, kitting, stocking, loading, and inspecting orders accurately and efficiently.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Maintain valid forklift/stand-up license- including completion of daily fork truck maintenance log and proper maintenance of equipment

* Responsible for maintaining inventory record accuracy through the use of a handheld scanner

* Line sets and organizes materials in a timely manner

* Identifies damaged materials

* Places materials to and from a variety of box/skid/containers

* Transports materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish tasks including but not limited to pallet jack, forklift, stand-up and/or sit down

* Identifies and communicates shortage parts to inventory manager

* Assists operators as needed by lifting heavy objects

* Delivering and picking up units via company truck

* Truck check-in

* Utilizes good housekeeping practices.

* Assists in maintaining safety standards in all areas of responsibility

* Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and communication.

* Preparation and participation in physical inventory.

What you need to be successful:

QUALIFICATIONS:

* HS Diploma or GED required

* 1-2 years proven warehouse experience

* Valid driver's license

* Good attendance

* Ability to use portable scanner device

* Lift and move a minimum of 40 pounds without assistance,

* Climb a ladder to a height of at least 15 feet and wear appropriate safety equipment.

* Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment

* Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
