Closing Date: February 28th, 2025, or upon receipt of the first 50 applicant submissions Compliance Auditor Department of Health & Human Services Hourly Range $22.51 - $33.94 Job Summary: Under the direction of the Contract Compliance Director, the Compliance Auditor position involves developing compliance indicators for all contracts, auditing agencies for compliance, preparing written audit result reports for stakeholders, and monitoring adherence to state regulations. This position is also responsible for ensuring agencies adhere to contracts as well as federal, state, and county regulations to ensure quality agency-provision of services for clients. Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of Milwaukee Country Department of Health and Human Services, services, and populations served; including programs for those living with mental illness or substance abuse issues; knowledge of the principles, procedures and techniques of contract monitoring and compliance; knowledge of social service program evaluations and monitoring including auditing for fiscal/QA compliance; knowledge of governmental and nonprofit financial management principles including accounting, budgeting and internal auditing/internal control procedures and techniques; knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws governing Milwaukee County contracts; oral and written communication skills; ability to uniformly apply processes and procedures to a multitude of different entities while maintaining a professional demeanor and presentation; ability to write reports; skilled in database management, word processing and spreadsheet software applications; research skills; organizational skills; ability to work with business owners at all levels of development; ability to work effectively and harmoniously with vendors, county staff, and other governmental agencies; ability to carry/lift up to 10lbs as needed.
