Job Description:

We are looking for a talented R&D Engineer to support the design, development, and integration of advanced medical devices for peripheral interventions. This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet the highest quality and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:




  • Design and Development: Assist in the design and development of medical devices, conducting feasibility studies, developing prototypes, and performing testing and validation.



  • Problem-Solving and Compliance: Support investigations into failure modes, perform root cause analyses, and develop solutions to address technical challenges. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and standards.



  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process development, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs, to ensure successful product development and integration.



  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and review engineering documentation, including technical reports, design history files, and regulatory submissions. Present project updates and technical insights to stakeholders.





Minimum required qualifications:




  • BS or above in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.



  • 1-2 years of engineering experience with a bachelor's degree or above



  • 1+ years of experience with Medical Devices



  • Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, collaborative mindset, and effective communication skills.





Preferred qualifications:




  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.



  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.



  • Strong hypothesis-driven experimental design and statistical analysis skills.



  • Hands-on approach to product development.



  • Self-motivation and curiosity with a passion for solving problems.



  • Experience with medical device design and/or processes.



  • Test method development experience.



  • Class II or Class III Medical Device product development experience.



  • Familiarity with quality systems or similar industry standards.
