Job Description

The Program
Mallinckrodt is offering an 11-week internship program, which provides an immersive experience in the world of pharmaceuticals. As an MNK Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful and impactful work that compliments the degree you are pursuing. Here, you will be able to apply what you've learned in the classroom to a corporate environment. In addition, our internship program is designed to include networking opportunities across the company, professional development workshops, and community service. Summary
  • The Immunology Marketing intern will support initiatives within the professional healthcare space, focusing on educating healthcare experts through our sales specialists. Gain field insights by reviewing marketing learning plan findings and collaborating with sales field trainers to identify the most impactful resources and establish strategic prioritization.
  • Identity training gaps in key marketing to maximize effectiveness and adoption
  • Deep dive into the nephrology space to identify gaps and optimize resource prioritization through strong cross-functional collaboration with key internal stakeholders. Identify best practices to maximize the utilization of marketing materials and other key digital assets of clinical data, aiming to enhance physician engagement while reducing printing costs
  • Potential Responsibilities for continuing momentum for our new formulation
  • Analyze product data to identify key insights regarding new prescribers by therapeutic area, providing recommendations to accelerate product launches at new levels
  • Analyze and identify product usage trends (product mix, increase over historical prescribing, diagnosis, patient demographics, etc.) at the healthcare professional level to determine any patterns that support segmentation strategies or support nonpersonal promotion targeting efforts
  • Assess market trends and competitor activities to help inform potential tactics and marketing strategies for our products
Essential Functions
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required, advanced competency with data visualization (excel, pivot tables, etc.) a plus
  • Flexible thinking and a willingness to learn
  • Hybrid role - twice a week (Tuesday and Wednesday would be ideal)
  • Teamwork and Collaboration
Minimum Requirements
  • Rising senior or higher, currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Organizational Relationship/Scope:
  • Reports to Executive Director. Two days a week in the office (Tuesday and Wednesday).
