As a Manager, Trade Analytics and Operations- OTC supporting our OTC business will play a critical role in optimizing trade promotion strategies and ensuring the effective execution of promotional activities. The role will be responsible for analyzing data, developing insights, and provide recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of trade promotions. This position will help drive sales growth and improve return on investment (ROI) for promotional activities in Fort Worth, TX.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Partner with sales teams or other key stakeholders by providing investment optimization recommendations,
resources and best practices for executing promotional spend effectively
* Support monthly & quarterly investment QBRs
* Utilize analytics techniques to drive analysis that results in actionable insights and recommendations that optimize
business performance, revenue generation, and cost efficiency.
* Prepare standard monthly reporting, develop & maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) dashboards to monitor
and communicate performance to leadership
* Support in ad hoc analysis, operational support, reporting, project management, and other areas as needed
* Develop models to support decision making process
* Conduct market research to identify opportunities for new promotions and competitive analysis.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of trade promotion
activities
* Establish and maintain integrated trade promotion calendar
* Lead annual coupon strategy development and planning

How you can thrive at Alcon:

Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
Experience with data analysis software preferred (Tableau, SQL, AWS Athena)
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills

What you can bring to Alcon:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 5 Years of Proven Experience
