Georgia-Pacific's Corporate Capabilities IT team is seeking a Business Architect. This is an internal role reporting to the VP of Corporate Capabilities IT and is responsible for developing strategic technology roadmaps in partnership with leadership in Georgia-Pacific Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (SS&P). This position is an integral part of Capabilities IT commitment to being a trusted partner delivering high-quality IT services that drive superior business outcomes for Georgia-Pacific. What You Will Do * Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in GP SS&P and deeply understand their vision, priorities, and challenges. Share insights on how technology can support their priorities. * Build actionable plans that apply technology solutions to key SS&P priorities. Maintain a long-term point of view on how technology can add value to the GP SS&P value streams. * Ensure the portfolio of work for GP SS&P reflects their vision, priorities, and timelines for technology solutions that enable the business capabilities and outcomes. Focus on the critical few work items that align with business priorities and drive the most value. * Understand the business value of and build business case(s) for the technology work that supports attaining GP SS&P priorities. * Collaborate across GP IT to align and integrate GP SS&P plans with business and IT strategies and to obtain guidance on architecture, design, and implementation of the technology solutions. * Facilitate and influence the decision-making process across the business and IT domains using economic thinking, data, insights, and trade-offs analysis. * Apply the Principle Based Management (PBM) Five Dimensions framework to ensure that technology solutions are comprehensive and aligned with business priorities. * Present technology plans and solutions to various audiences, including senior executives, business partners, IT teams, and external vendors, using clear, concise, and compelling language and visuals. * Monitor and measure the performance and value of your technology portfolio, and provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement, using relevant metrics and indicators Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Experience in business relationship management, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. * Demonstrated ability to understand the business vision, strategy, and priorities and translate them into technology roadmaps and solutions that drive superior results. * Effective communicator (written, verbal) with proven ability to adapt messages for all levels from executives and leadership to project resources. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity. * Experience building strategic IT roadmaps and execution strategies in a large, complex working environment. * Proficiency at forming metrics and delivering useful reporting to influence business strategies. * Experience in agile and waterfall methodologies, and familiarity with various IT domains, such as cloud, data, security, infrastructure, and applications. What Will Put You Ahead * Experience as a business relationship manager at a large, complex company or as a technology service delivery leader. * A "big-picture" focus and thinking. * Financial planning and analysis related to technology and total cost of ownership modeling. * Experience with supporting technology in a manufacturing setting.
