Working under the general supervision of Principal Investigator (or Research Manager), and in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures, conducts a variety of routine experiments where methodologies are clearly established. Calculates, transcribes, and analyzes data using basic statistics. May perform literature searches under direction of supervisor.
1. Under general supervision, performs a variety of routine experiments following established methodologies. These may include genotyping using PCR and/or gel electrophoresis, Western blots, RT-PCR, and immunofluorescence. * B.S. in a biological/physical science required. * Good organizational skills, detail oriented.
