The Role
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include verifying and receiving incoming shipments, handling materials, fulfilling customer orders, and maintaining an organized and clean warehouse environment.

Responsibilities
  • Verify and receive incoming shipments, handle materials, and fulfill customer orders.
  • Keep the warehouse inventory organized, clean, and equipment operational.
  • Follow instructions for order or transfer fulfillment, including packing requirements.
  • Select and stage items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Arrange articles in cartons, crates, or pallets to prevent damage, and seal and mark packages.
  • Attach identifying labels, packing slips, and Bills of Lading to shipments.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and operate industrial trucks and hand trucks.
  • Load and unload materials onto or from vehicles, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
  • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Conduct periodic cycle counts to verify inventory levels and correct discrepancies.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and participate in special projects as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED, with 2-4 years of related experience in distribution/logistics, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or a warehouse environment.
  • Current forklift/reach/cherry picker certification or the ability to become certified.
  • Proficiency in personal computer applications and various software, including RF scanning equipment, FedEx Ship Manager, and Microsoft Office. Oracle JDE Enterprise 1 experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and work independently or as part of a team.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of warehouse SOPs and adherence to safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and meet attendance and work hour requirements.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with arms, talk, and hear.
Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, pull/push, climb, balance, and be elevated up to 20 feet on harnessed equipment.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 110 pounds with assistance.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
