*A Local Company in NE Portland is hiring a PC Deployment Technician (Windows 11) to join the team for a great opportunity!*
*Job Summary:* This role focuses on large-scale deployment of desktop and laptop hardware, including peripherals, across various locations. This person will replace outdated systems with new Windows 11-based machines configured for the companies IT environment. This position demands strong attention to detail, prioritization skills, customer focus, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. The technician must be technically proficient and adaptable to new procedures and technologies. *Job Description:* * Deployment Preparation: Prepare new and existing PC equipment for deployment using imaging technologies and scripts. * Hardware Replacement: Replace existing hardware (PCs, monitors, printers, peripherals) with new or reimaged equipment according to standards and user needs. * Configuration: Configure operating systems with user-specific profiles and data, migrating data from previous machines as necessary. * Software Installation: Install and configure software applications for end-users (during configuration, remotely, or on-site). * Workload Management: Process deployment requests, manage workload, and prioritize tasks to meet SLAs and customer needs. * Compatibility Testing: Conduct compatibility testing for software and hardware with Windows 11. * Inventory Management: Update hardware and software asset inventory records. Maintain organized stockrooms for accurate inventory control. * Communication: Utilize phone, email, and in-person interactions to schedule deployments, configure equipment, and address customer needs. *Required Qualifications:* * Deployment Experience: Proven experience in large-scale PC hardware deployment projects with tight deadlines. * Windows Expertise: Demonstrated expertise supporting Windows 10 and 11 in an enterprise environment (Active Directory, Group Policy, domain security). * Scripting: Experience with PowerShell in an enterprise environment, including interpreting and writing scripts. * Ticketing Systems: Experience with enterprise ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow). * Microsoft 365: Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products, both using cloud based and locally installed applications. *Preferred Qualifications: * * IT Service Management: Experience with ITIL concepts * Software Deployment Tools: Experience with Microsoft software and image deployment products (e.g., SCCM). * Endpoint Management Tools: Experience working with cloud-based MDM or endpoint management tools (e.g. Microsoft Intune) ***If Interested:* *Please apply to the job application and email Derek at Dmautz @teksystems.com* *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
