About the team

Digital 1 Commercial provides digital banking functionality including payments, reporting and enrollment to commercial banks in on-prem, hosted and SAAS models. The product operates on a modern architecture, 100% API based and in AWS for our hosted clients.

As a technical consultant in the D1C professional services group you will work a services team including PMs, BAs and developers to support our customers in new implementations, upgrades and the addition of new functionality.

What you will be doing

The Technical Consultant position is the senior technical role on an implementation of an application for a customer. This person will be the primary interface with customers for technical activities, integration, delivery and deployment, as well coordinate with internal DFT parties as needed to deliver the solution within the definition of the DFT product to the customer.

This role is accountable to plan and drive the successful completion of all technical components of the project. A successful TC will understand FIS D1C functionality, configuration options, application architecture, deployment architecture, data migrations and integration points.

  • Works closely with Project Manager, Business Analysis, and Delivery Executive to ensure timely and successful implementation of each client project.

  • Responsible for overall design and integration of customer systems and the product.

  • Provides implementation and task estimates to the Project Manager and justifies it to the Delivery Executive.

  • Researches and analyzes issues in data migrations, integrations, the product, and deployments. Finds solutions.

  • Answers developer's queries during the construction stage of project enhancements.

  • Responsible for educating the clients (not formal training) in product API specs, real-time message formats and batch file formats. Answers customers questions.

Bonus if you have

  • Commercial Banking Experience in Treasury Services.

  • Customer Facing Professional Services Experience.

  • Experience working in on AWS hosted products.
