Sustainability Coordinator

Starting Pay: $19.71 / Hour

Position Description:

Provides administrative support to Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities' Sustainability team. Plays a crucial role in supporting the sustainability initiatives of our organization particularly through comprehensive research, administrative support, and operational functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitors and stays informed on sustainability trends relevant to ongoing projects and business operations as they relate to key initiatives. Attends meetings and takes accurate/detailed notes and subsequently prepares meeting summaries, action items, and follow-up tasks. Assists in drafting, formatting, and proofreading memos, briefs, reports, and presentations and ensures timely dissemination of materials to relevant Team Members. Maintains departmental calendars by preparing agendas and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences and travel/itineraries. Assists in executing key tasks for pilot programs, ensuring accurate and timely data collection for reporting purposes. Compiles, reviews, and verifies data reporting for accuracy across all assigned projects and pilots. Helps to define success metrics for pilot programs to evaluate their impact and scalability. Provides support for operational tours and networking events, as needed. Provides support and backfill as receptionist concierge and other departments. Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):

• Minimum of five (3) years' experience as an administrative professional in a corporate setting, preferably with VP level and above.
• Background in sustainability is a plus.
• Must type a minimum of 60 words per minute.
• Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including electronic media and e-mail.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Ability to read, edit, and interpret complex documents, both electronically and in hard copy, in order to create a clear audit trail.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
• Ability to multi-task effectively, and deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
• Manage time well, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrates high level of professionalism and relate comfortably to people in all levels of the organization.
• Maintains high level confidentiality at all times by having the ability to identify and hold sensitive, financial, proprietary, and/or attorney-client privileged information in strict confidence.
• Must be able to quickly acquire a thorough knowledge of policies and procedures and understand the mission, vision and culture of the organization.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
