Leonardo Helicopters is looking for a highly motivated self-starter who has a passion for aerospace engineering. The selected candidate will need to provide engineering support for aircrafts in final assembly line and experimental operation for electrical installation design to meet company's safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

Design, development and review of electrical schematics, diagrams, and drawings. Maintain accurate and up-to-date program documentation, including design specifications, bills of materials, and test reports. |

Coordinate the substantiation of type documentation required to meet the approved certification basis, providing expertise for resolution of non-compliance, support releasing of test plans/reports in accordance to program milestones. |

Support supplier qualification activities, including environmental qual, EMI qual reviews. Ensure conformity requirement are covered for the systems/equipment under compliance testing. |

Support on-site prototypes technical activities and production line acting as sustaining engineer. |

Support preparation, verification and integration of the applicable certification plans and oversight activities which show compliance. Work closely with DER in finding/showing compliance to applicable technical, programmatic and certification requirements. |

- Qualifications for Position:
A. Education
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. |
B. Experience
Minimum of Five (5) years of technical experience involved in design, test, and analysis of electrical & avionics equipment installation and systems for developmental aircrafts including integration expertise. |
C. Competencies & Attributes

Good knowledge of aircrafts electrical systems installations as well as the standard aeronautical design, qualification, and certification procedures. |
2. |
Analytical and design skills. Proven experience to create plans and design models, communicate them efficiently across a diverse, complex and multicultural organization. |
3. |
General understanding of systems engineering methodology, tools, and processes |
4. |
Communication and presentation skills, ability to effectively communicate to different levels of the organization. |
5. |
FAA Certification/ EASA certification processes experience is a plus |
6. |
Domestic and International travelling for short periods may be required on an occasional basis |
