DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this confidential position, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, including supervising clerical staff, reviewing and tracking assignments, and ensuring timely and accurate completion. You will also be responsible for providing orientation and job training to new employees and providing support to the the Superintendent's Office in terms of clerical and administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include prioritizing and completing tasks in a timely manner, answering and directing calls, and maintaining the Superintendent's calendar. Your role will be crucial in keeping the office running smoothly and efficiently.

- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $44,890.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Supervisor 1; or
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 3; or
- Two years as a Clerical Assistant 2; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
