About the role:
As a Software Engineer you could work with leading edge technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications.

About the team:

FIS Compliance Suite (formerly Protegent) is a scalable platform that solves multiple regulatory challenges, including anti-money laundering and communications surveillance.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Angular Web Components with FIS RUF framework for FIS Supervision Compliance Manager: Create and manage web components using Angular framework, ensuring they are fast, responsive, and scalable.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with designers, backend developers, and product manager to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the web development.

Implement Responsive Designs: Ensure the application's front-end works well on modern browsers through responsive design techniques.

Code Review and Optimization: Review code from other developers, suggest improvements, and optimize existing code for better performance and maintainability.

Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify, analyze, and fix bugs or performance issues in the application to ensure smooth user experiences.

Stay Updated with Latest Technologies: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in front-end development, particularly within the Angular ecosystem.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the codebase, development processes, and any updates or changes made to the applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Front End Software Engineer

Good grasp on usability and interaction design

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Angular and its core principles.

Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, as these are the primary languages used with Angular.

Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies for building dynamic interfaces.

Experience with BitBucket and JIRA for managing code repositories and collaborating with other developers and QAs.

Familiarity with integrating and working with RESTful APIs to fetch and manipulate data.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to debug complex issues and find effective solutions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Solid CS, OOP/OOD, design patternsTrack record in large-scale system software development

Bachelors or higher in computer science or equivalent degree

What you will be doing:
* Designing, programming, debugging and modifying software enhancements.
* Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.
* Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.
* Working with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams.

What you will need:
* Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards.
* Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations and operations.
* Fluency in sequence diagrams, class models, etc.
* Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines.
* A bachelor's in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or equivalent experience.
