Administrative Assistant This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered. As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen. The Administrative Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient office operations. They perform tasks such as answering phone calls, managing schedules, organizing documents, and coordinating meetings. They also handle correspondence, maintain records, and assist in various administrative duties as needed. Compensation & Benefits:

- Pay commensurate with experience.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities Include:
- Manage a broad range of administrative tasks, but not limited to manage up to 15 individual and group calendars, schedule and edit meetings, set up calls, create and distribute agendas, and taking detailed notes or minutes during meetings.
- Maintain organizational charts and branch contact lists, creating new and maintaining existing organizational charts and contact lists as needed.
- Updating personnel rosters, uploading articles, generating reports, and utilizing
- the Defense Travel System (DTS) travel system. Work conducted onsite, telework may be available on case-by-case basis.
- Collaborate with branch leadership and division staff to maintain active conference lists and coordinate conference attendance, registration, and memos.
- Provide travel support for creating entering domestic travel requests into the SharePoint and Concur Travel Systems.
- Prepares travel vouchers and uploads receipts for JTS travelers upon their return.
- Attend and record regular Office of the Director, JTS meetings and provides minutes
- within two (2) business days. They will provide backup for the admin assistant recording minutes for the
- Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care, Committee on En Route Combat Casualty Care and
- Committee on Surgical Combat Casualty Care, and other meetings as requested within JTS and provide minutes within two (2) business days of completion of meeting.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Administrative Assistant Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Proficient in Microsoft MS Excel as an Expert User o Ability to manage multiple high-priority assignments
- Possess excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in video conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams and Zoom) and Concur.
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience of administrative experience.
- Office Procurement experience required.
- Executive calendar management required.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
