Information Technologist/Logistic Specialist

This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered.

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen.

The role involves troubleshooting, supporting remote employees, managing account permissions, security updates, and maintaining network connectivity for JTS and DoDTR clients. Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and remote access will be provided for off-site work. Contractors must have high-speed internet, a dedicated phone line, and perform basic computer troubleshooting.

  • Pay commensurate with experience.

Information Technologist/Logistic Specialist Responsibilities Include:



  • Troubleshoot and support remote employees, including account permissions, security updates, and network connectivity for JTS and DoDTR clients.
  • Perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting, including reimaging laptops and installing software/licenses.
  • Maintain and manage JTS computer systems, ensuring unassigned computers remain online in designated locations.
  • Support Joint Trauma System Manager (JTSM) software application for tracking GFE, hand receipts, and mail-out/return processes.
  • Coordinate with ISR IMO staff for bulk reimaging and technical issues.
  • Work with DHA warehouse and JTS property book holders to manage GFE logistics.
  • Assist in onboarding new personnel by setting up network access and accounts.
  • Maintain compliance with cybersecurity certifications and keep all required credentials up to date.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


Information Technologist/Logistic Specialist Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
  • Experience in remote system troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Familiarity with military IT environments is desirable.
  • Experience in hardware and software support, including imaging and network setup.
  • Prior experience managing IT assets and government-furnished equipment (GFE).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate IT support remotely and onsite.
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity, network management, and account administration.
  • Familiarity with CASP+CE, IAM Level I & II, Linux or Microsoft, Network+ or Security+, and Python/CherryPy.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with military and civilian personnel.
  • Organized and detail-oriented for asset tracking and reporting.
  • Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing and seeing up close, at a distance, along the periphery, with depth perception and the ability to adjust focus; occasional walking or standing.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
