Communication Associate

POSITION SUMMARY:

Strong writing and communications skills, with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools. Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign)

1. Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative content for various platforms, including website articles, blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, marketing collateral, and internal communications. This includes copyright and basic graphic design.

2. Media Relations: Assist in building and maintaining relationships with media contacts. Support press release distribution, media outreach, and tracking of media coverage

3. Social Media Management: Create and schedule social media content, monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and track social media performance.

4. Email Marketing: Assist in the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, including list management, email desig n, and performance tracking.

5. Marketing Materials Management: Manage inventory of marketing materials, coordinate print orders, and ensure availability of necessary resources.

6. Invoice Processing: Process invoices related to marketing and communication activities, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.

7. Graphic Design: Create basic marketing materials, such as social media graphics, flyers, and brochures, using design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photo shop)

8. Website Updates: Assist with website content updates and basic maintenance.

9. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing and communications team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing files.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mail chimp, Go High Level) is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Strong graphic design and copy-writing skills are preferred. Interest in Agriculture is a plus.
