Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Registered Nursefor the PACU- Post-Anesthesia Care Unit.This is a part time, day shift position in Charlottesville, VA. The schedule will be 20-30 hours per week, 10-hour shifts and required call.

About the unit:

PACU: The Post- Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nursing Staff are responsible for observingand treating post-operative patients from a variety of service lines including Radiology,Endoscopy, General surgery, Complex GYN, Neurosurgery, Vascular/Thoracic and Orthopedicsurgery. PACU a 12-bed unit with a 1 to 2 Nursing ratio. Operating hours are 730AM to 930PMMonday to Friday. The required call schedule includes 8 shifts per 6 weeks until 930PM and 1overnight call from 930p to 7a. One 24-hour holiday call per year. Call requirement is subject tobusiness unit needs and may require occasional additional hours.

Requirements:
* 1 year of experience, preferred.
* Critical Care experience, Preferred.
* RN License- Required.
* Degree or Diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing Program.
* BSN or MSN preferred.
* ACLS Required within 90 days of hire, preferred prior to hire.
* PALS required within 1 year of hire.
* BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
